Dentistry

Dental problems are very common in pet animals, and painful abscesses and extractions can often be avoided by preventative ultrasonic scaling and polishing, thus prolonging dental health. We routinely examine the condition of your pet’s teeth during their annual booster and health check, and will advise you of any dental work that may be necessary.

As with your dentist we recommend that you visit us every 6 months for a FREE check up.

Dental procedures

When teeth are in need of extracting we have a range of specific dental surgical instruments and high speed drills (very similar to those which you find in your own dentist) to make this process as quick and painless as possible. Dental procedures in cats and dogs will normally require a general anaesthetic.
